Bill Lang has served the legal needs of his clients with dedication and professionalism throughout a distinguished legal career spanning almost 40 years. Called to the Bar in 1987, Bill established a broad practice in Huntsville, serving clients across the Muskoka region. His work included real estate, corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, and municipal matters. 

Bill was a trusted advisor to many local businesses and families in Muskoka. He was known for his thorough, thoughtful approach and his deep commitment to his clients and community. He joined Barriston Law in 2020 and has continued to offer legal services with the same integrity and care that have defined his career. 

As of August 29, 2025, Bill will retire from the practice of law. Barriston Law has assumed carriage of his active files, including corporate minute books and original wills and trusts. Bill’s longtime clerk, Margie, will continue to work at the Huntsville office to support a smooth transition and ensure continuity of service with the other lawyers at that office.
