Angela is an associate lawyer practicing in the civil litigation department. She maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with a particular focus on commercial litigation and construction law. Angela represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of disputes, providing practical, strategic advice tailored to her clients’ objectives.
Angela was called to the Bar in June 2025 after completing her articles with Barriston. Since then, she has developed experience in all stages of the litigation process, including dispute resolution, motions, discoveries, and trial preparation. She is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal matters with clear communication, thoughtful advocacy, and results-focused solutions.
Angela earned both her Canadian and American Juris Doctor degrees through the Dual JD Program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and Detroit Mercy School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2024. During law school, she participated in moots in both Canada and the United States, serving as both an advocate and a judge. She also worked with the Detroit Mercy School of Law Trademark and Entrepreneur Clinic, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Prior to law school, Angela obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University, specializing in Law and Business. Her business background provides valuable insight into the legal, operational, and commercial considerations that often arise in litigation matters.
Angela takes pride in building strong client relationships and translating complex legal issues into practical advice that clients can understand and act upon. Drawing on years of direct client-facing experience, she understands the importance of responsiveness, transparency, and a tailored approach to addressing each client’s unique needs.
Outside of her practice, Angela enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her beloved pets, Opal and Basil
