Jason M. Botelho

Jason is an associate who practices commercial litigation. Jason's practice focuses in the area of commercial litigation with an emphasis on employment and construction matters as well as shareholder and contractual disputes. Jason’s primary areas of practice include construction liens and construction related litigation, contractual disputes, creditors rights and remedies, shareholders rights and remedies, commercial lease disputes and wrongful dismissal.

Jason was born in Toronto and raised in the Greater Toronto Area. Prior to law school Jason obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in History and Political Science. Soon after, Jason completed his Master of Arts degree in History, also from the University of Toronto. Jason pursued his legal studies in Australia where he obtained his Juris Doctor from Bond University in the Gold Coast. Jason was called to the Ontario bar in 2009.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys baseball, travelling and golf. Jason is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Advocates’ Society.
