As an associate lawyer, Amric primarily focuses his efforts on municipal and corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Amric completed his articling in-house with one of the biggest legal publishing/technology companies in the world. He worked directly with the general counsel where he was responsible for contractual agreements and ensuring that the company was compliant with legislative requirements. Amric also created and updated numerous legal publications in various areas of law, which are utilized by legal practitioners throughout Canada. His contributions consisted of conducting legal research, writing legal literature, and ensuring that the legal literature was updated with the most current information. In addition, Amric was a professor at a university where he lectured and graded university students on a variety of legal subjects.
Amric has obtained his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), and a Master of Laws (LL.M.). Upon completion of his LL.M., Amric was recognized for graduating at the top of his class. Aside from the degrees mentioned, Amric has completed legal and non-legal courses throughout his time.
Amric’s experience also extends outside the legal industry. Before becoming a lawyer, Amric has worked with a financial institution, a Crown corporation, and private organizations. This broad experience has afforded Amric the opportunity to relate and understand issues from different perspectives.
Amric has been described as an adaptable and personable individual. Amric is multilingual; he has a passion for playing and watching sports, particularly basketball; he takes pleasure in spending time with family and friends; he enjoys watching movies, travelling, and experiencing different foods and cultures.
Amric is delighted to be returning to the Simcoe County region and he looks forward to connecting with his friends and hopes to make a positive impact on the community.
